The NSW Supreme Court pushed Bathla’s convening period to 13 September 2027 as administrators work through roughly $3.4 billion in known creditor claims and funding for active projects.

Administrators of the Bathla Group won more time before they must convene the second creditors’ meeting, after the NSW Supreme Court extended the convening period to 13 September 2027. The order does not itself fund the administration for a full year. Teneo has secured about $4.7 million initially and is still negotiating longer-term lender support for construction sites and shared operating costs. Known consolidated claims sit near $3.4 billion, including about $3.08 billion from secured lenders and $145 million owed to the ATO. Teneo’s early review has also flagged roughly $736 million in possibly overstated inter-company receivables and payables, subject to reconciliation, across a large active project book.
